A variety of FDM, SLA and direct write 3D printers are currently available for use. Access is provided through a first come first served drop in basis. Staff are available to help with loading of prints and review of designs. Open access computers are available with solid modeling and slicer programs pre-loaded.

Filament Deposition Modeling based 3D printer with single material spool. Available materials include Eco-ABS, PETG and PLA. Instructional videos for these printers are available through the Dremel website. Staff are available in the Garage to provide an overview of the printers, review designs, load prints and remove them for pick up.
A Stereolithography (SL) 3D printer capable of higher resolution printing through the use of a laser to scan the print directly into a liquid pool of resin. A detailed description of the process can be found here. Prints typically require further post print treatment in a curing chamber. Staff are available to review your designs to recommend the best printer.
A dual nozzle FDM printer capable of printing with a variety of robust materials such as Flex98, Nylon 6, and ABS. This printer also features the ability to print with a soluble support opening the possibility to print more complex designs.
A large volume, single extruder FDM 3D printer. Equipped with a tungsten carbide nozzle that allows it to print exotic materials such as carbon fibre composites, wood filled and copper filled PLA/PHA.
A commercial dual nozzle FDM printer capable of printing in ASA and ABS. The F120 serves as a bridge between our lower end user friendly printers and our higher end production grade printers. Some of its features include a high accuracy, medium sized build volume and soluble support material. This system is available on request and based on the need of the print/design upon review of staff.
A commercial dual nozzle FDM printer for production grade, high performance thermoplastic materials such as carbon fiber nylon. The Fortus is configured with a large print bed, high accuracy and soluble sacrificial support material. This system is available on request and based on the need of the print/design upon review of staff.
A commercial 3D printer capable of realistic prototypes. This printer expands the design window for prototyping through voxel printing of both colour and material properties. This system is available on request and based on the need of the print/design upon review of staff.
